While you were slaving away at work or school or whatever you were so busy doing over the last seven days, people have been hard at work creating a variety of new Snapchat lenses for your enjoyment. These lenses are hot off the presses, and I'm honestly really impressed with this week's crop.
If you're not sure how to add new user-created lenses to your Snapchat, you can either tap a link or scan a Snapcode. Both will be provided down below in our April 13 list, so don't fret if you prefer one method over the other. And share the love! Make sure to send them to all your friends so they'll also get to have fun with the best lenses for the week ending this Friday the 13th.
If you're wondering why I don't use the word "filter" here, opting to call everything a "lens," it's because these are all technically lenses (as they were made using Snapchat's Lens Studio). Some will feel like filters, but that doesn't make them inferior to the more augmented reality lens ones.

1. Stranger Things
I'm really jazzed about this Demogorgon Plenero lens by gabrielc4brera. It features the Stranger Things theme and a fantastic render of the Demogorgon. It's a great way to make the wait for Season 3 of Stranger Things feel a little shorter.
2. Who's That Pokémon?
This "Whos That" Pokémon lens by Dave G. (more of a filter) gives the subject an audio cue ("Who's that Pokémon?") where they can do something goofy in front of the camera. In my case, I spilled half a cup of coffee on my laptop. Not sure if there's enough rice in the world to help me dry it out. It also works great if you plan on staging something where you don't ruin your electronics.
3. It's Time to Stop
Even though Filthy Frank hung it up a few months ago, his memes live on. This "It's Time To Stop" lens by Lucas is a great example of one of his most popular. It features full audio from the scene, and actually goes on for a while. I'm really impressed with the quality of this lens, definitely the best of its kind.
4. Curb Your Enthusiasm
The fans of Curb Your Enthusiasm are rabid, but there's also a deep meme culture surrounding the show. Specifically, with regards to the intro, which found a second life with the rebirth of the show. This filter-y lens by Simon Tibblin includes the lead-up with the music, then drops the "Executive Producer Larry David" to complete the effect.
5. Epic Sax Man
An oldie but a goodie, the epic sax meme originally made the rounds a couple years ago, but it's made a revival recently. This lens by mrtolien sticks a 3D sax in your mouth and plays the iconic tune.
That's it for this week. Plenty of good lenses to try out for the weekend. Make sure to check back next Friday to see more of the hottest-trending lenses made by Snapchat users. And you can view last week's winners if need more lenses in your arsenal.
