Visible Offers $5 Off for Five Years — What to Know Before Switching

A lower phone bill is welcome; a discount that lasts beyond the first year is worth a closer look. Visible's five-year offer gives eligible new customers $5 off monthly service, bringing its advertised Visible+ price to $30 and Visible+ Pro to $40.

The promotion requires transferring a qualifying phone number and using code 5OFF5 at checkout. As checked on Oct. 13, 2026, Visible lists Oct. 29, 2026, as the enrollment deadline. The offer excludes existing subscribers, annual plans and the standard $25 Visible plan.

Which plans qualify — and what they cost

Visible's official offer terms confirm the five-year discount. Customers must select a qualifying monthly plan and port a number from an eligible carrier; simply opening a new line does not satisfy that transfer requirement.

According to the carrier's published plan prices, the qualifying options include taxes and fees:

  • Visible+: $30 monthly with the promotion, down from $35.

  • Visible+ Pro: $40 monthly with the promotion, down from $45.

Both tiers advertise unlimited premium data on Verizon's network. Visible+ supports video streaming up to 1080p and offers smartwatch service for another $10 monthly. Pro includes smartwatch service and supports streaming up to 4K.

The discount is identical on either tier, so choose between them based on the features you will use. Pro's included smartwatch service deserves attention if you want cellular connectivity for a compatible watch. If you do not, that inclusion may carry little value for you.

Likewise, a higher supported streaming resolution is not automatically a reason to upgrade. Think about how often you watch video over cellular data rather than Wi-Fi, and whether the difference matters on your phone.

For a useful comparison, write down your current monthly service charge alongside the proposed Visible bill. Separate any device payments or optional services from the wireless plan itself. That gives you a clearer view of whether switching reduces your recurring costs.

Five years of discounts is not an unconditional price freeze

The advertised reduction works out to $60 a year, or a maximum of $300 over 60 qualifying months. Those figures are calculated from the $5 monthly discount; the promotion does not provide a $300 upfront payment.

The duration is appealing, but the full savings depend on keeping eligible service. Someone who receives the discount for a year saves $60, while someone who stays for two years saves $120. Evaluate the offer over the period you reasonably expect to use it.

Visible's terms say canceling service or switching to an ineligible plan forfeits the remaining promotional benefit. Moving between qualifying tiers preserves the remaining original term rather than restarting the five years.

The disclosure also prohibits combining this offer with other service promotions, device promotions or Inner Circle credits. Compare competing offers separately instead of assuming their discounts can be added together.

Visible reserves the right to change or terminate the promotion, and standard rates apply after the promotional period. The stated benefit is a conditional $5 monthly reduction — not an unconditional guarantee that every part of your bill will remain unchanged.

There is an important difference between maintaining eligibility for the full savings and being required to stay for five years. Visible describes its service as contract-free. Leaving means giving up future promotional savings; the five-year discount should not be presented as a five-year service contract.

Check your phone and coverage first

You do not need to replace a working phone to participate. Visible accepts compatible devices through its bring-your-own-phone option, and its phone compatibility checker is a sensible starting point before choosing a plan.

Visible's switching guidance also specifies that a phone purchased elsewhere must be unlocked and compatible with its network. Confirm both before spending time on enrollment; compatibility and promotion eligibility are separate checks.

Next, consult the carrier's coverage map for the places where you depend on service. Check your home, workplace and regular travel routes rather than relying solely on nationwide coverage claims.

If eligible, you can also consider Visible's 15-day free trial. The carrier says it requires a compatible eSIM-capable phone and lets participants retain their existing service while testing Visible with a temporary number. The trial provides the base Visible plan, so it should not be treated as a complete demonstration of every premium-tier benefit.

Use any trial to test ordinary tasks: making calls, loading maps, messaging and using mobile data in your usual locations. Confirm how to redeem 5OFF5 when moving to paid service, and leave enough time to meet the promotion's enrollment and transfer requirements.

Transfer your number without losing the discount

Before checkout, confirm that your current carrier qualifies for the promotion. A phone that works on Visible does not, by itself, establish that its existing carrier meets the offer's port-in requirements.

Visible's number-transfer instructions tell customers to gather their account information and keep their current service active until the transfer is complete. Do not cancel the old line first if you intend to bring its number with you.

At checkout, select the qualifying monthly plan, request the transfer and apply 5OFF5. Review the resulting price before paying, then save the order confirmation and offer disclosure.

Complete activation and porting promptly. The promotion sets a 30-day window, but its disclosure refers to both activation and transaction dates. Ask Visible to confirm the deadline attached to your order rather than assuming the later date applies.

Keep a screenshot showing the plan, code and discounted charge. When the first bill arrives, compare it with those records and contact support if the amounts do not match.

The five-year offer is confirmed, but the discounted Visible+ price still exceeds the standard plan's regular $25 monthly charge. Premium features may justify that difference; the presence of a promotion alone does not.

Choose the service that fits your phone, coverage needs and daily habits. The discount can make a suitable plan more affordable, but reliable service at a comfortable monthly price is what makes it worth keeping.
