How to fix and repair the LCD screen on the HTC Touch

Start by removing the back cover and the battery. Use a t5 torx screwdriver to remove the 4 screws on the back of the phone. Once the screws are removed remove the the back plate of the phone using a pry tool to release the clips. Then use your fingers to pull it apart. Then use the pry tool to release the clips along the side of the phone and take it apart. When you take the front cover off of the phone be careful because it is still attached by a ribbon pop cable. Use the pry tool to unsnap the ribbon and remove the front cover off of the phone. Next remove the speaker cable from the motherboard and use the pry tool to remove the motherboard from the case. After you have removed the motherboard from the case. Use the pry tool and release the LCD from the motherboard. Unhook the LCD ribbon from the motherboard with the pry tool and use the t5 torx screwdriver to remove the two screws and take the LCD off. Then replace the LCD and put the phone back together.
