Are you sick and tired of paying for all those iphone apps from the itunes store that you really want but really just dont want to pay? If you answered "Yes" to this question, then you need to jailbreak!

What do i really gain from Jailbreaking my Iphone?

• There are so many reasons to jailbreak your iphone and different people have different ambitions about the iphone. Here are a few of mine...
• Gain access to every app in the itunes store for free! Yes free! But i will explain all that in another article.
• Allow me to change the themes and the springboard Icons.
• Gives me the ability to turn my iphone camera into a video recorder.
• Play Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, NES and PlayStation games with emulators.

Unlock the iphone to allow me to use my iphone on every other network.

Is Jailbreaking safe??

YES!  Jailbreaking is totally safe and reversible.  If at anytime you wish to return to the original Apple software or come accross any problems, all you have to do is restore your device.

"How to"

Step 1 Setup

Make sure you are running the latest version of iTunes (iTunes 10). This is because since the IOS4.1 is brand new you need the newest version of itunes to Make this Jailbreak work.

Step 2 Getting the Software needed 

So to jailbreak your iphone you need to download two pieces of software and that is it.

First follow these links and download tho two items

1. Download the custom iphone firmware from here iOS 4.1
2. Download this program

Step 3 Start the Process

So now plug your iphone into itunes and press the restore button. This will now restore your iphone to the latest firmware which is IOS4.1. Now once your iphone has finished restoring leave your iphone plugged in but close itunes.

Now the RedsnOw Program you have just downloaded open it.

It will now ask you to browse for a custom IPSW 4.1.

This is the Custom firmware you downloaded in the previous step. It will then verify it and tell you to continue. Now make sure there is a tick in the box next to "Install Cydia". If u select any other options there is a chance it might not work of it could slow your iphone down dramatically. So it is up to you how much you wanna install.

Now it will give you instructions on how to put your iphone into DFU mode. Follow these instructions and watch your iphone. It will show your iphone jailbreaking. After the process is complete your iphone will restart. Once completed You will now have a fully jailbroken on IOS4.1.

Step 4 Start customizing

Now your iphone Is Jailbroken click the newly appeared icon of Cydia. Follow the instructions and you can Start Customizing. Thank you for reading, ENJOY!
