Indestructible iPhone 4 Case Inspired by Shark Eyes

When it comes to smartphone protection, SharkEye's Rugged Case for the iPhone 4 has got to be the most durable one ever produced. Inspired by the shark's nictitating eyelids which create a clear membrane barrier between immediate danger and their vital vision, the Rugged Case rolls out a semitransparent frosted cover over the touchscreen to protect it from scratches. But it doesn't make it completely unreadable, so you can still see who's calling.

The Rugged iPhone 4 Case goes for $49.95, and aside from the retractable screen, it features a hard outer shell, soft inner lining, maneuverable plug ports and belt clip. The size seems like overkill, making the impressively small iPhone look like a bulky mobile from the '90s.
