Isn't it everyone's dream to be a sticker? No? Just me?

Well, if you've ever felt like emojis just aren't conveying the exact emotion you want and you feel like your face would do a better job, have no fear. Prisma has released a new app called "Sticky AI" that allows you to transform your selfies into stickers that you can use for your messages.

If you haven't used Prisma before, you need to get on that. The original app takes your selfies and turns them into art using filters and other graphic design elements. It does so by replicating the styles of artists such as Van Gogh and Picasso to create a unique image.

The new app, which is now on iOS, launched today. It lets you take a picture or an animated Boomerang and cuts around your face to create a sticker that you can edit to your liking. I tested it out myself and found out just how cool it is.

When you download Sticky, you will immediately be taken to the app's camera. There you can take your first selfie on the app or browse from selfies you've already taken. If you can, try to get a selfie with a solid background color. The app cuts out your face for you using AI technology and having a transparent background will make it look less choppy. You can also hold the camera button down to create an animated Boomerang sticker.

Once you've taken the selfie, you can edit your photo by tapping on your picture. Right now, Prisma has two of their artistic filters available, one in black and white and one in color.

To make your photo stand out more, you can tap on the two buttons in the top right corner of your screen. The "T" button will let you add text, and choose the color of the text you want. Hitting the button underneath which is the outline of a person creates a white border around your sticker.

You also don't have to feel married to the transparent background that the app automatically provides. Tapping the background repeatedly allows you to move through the colors and pick a specific background for your sticker.

When you're satisfied with how your sticker looks and are ready to share, hit the export button at the bottom right of the screen. This will give you the platforms you can share your masterpiece on, including iMessage, Messenger, and Snapchat. Export your pic and you've got a fun reaction picture that accurately conveys what you're trying to express without words.

Sticky AI told TechCrunch how their technology works:

We trained neural networks to find different objects on a photo/video and even on a live video stream. So basically our trained neural networks are looking for a person on a photo. That's all we need. Then we cut out the background and the sticker is ready.

The app is currently only available on iOS but will be available very soon for Android. Check it out and get ready to become your very own emoji.
