Blizzard announced last week that the latest Hearthstone expansion, The Witchwood, would be releasing on April 12 2018. Equipped with 135 "hair raising" new cards and mechanics like Echo and Rush, Hearthstone players across the globe are itching to start playing with the set the minute it drops. Now, we know exactly when that'll be.
Other than wanting to be first, there's a more practical reason to be online the minute the set comes out. Blizzard's servers always back up for a couple hours after a set comes out, so if you're not already online, you may end up paying for it. For this reason, it's imperative you get online around 15–30 minutes prior to when The Witchwood is slated to come out in your Region.
According to Hearthstone community manager Zaerhinon, it will come out in the Americas at 10:00 AM PDT on April 12, in Europe at 19:00 CEST, in Asia on 13 April at 02:00 KS / 01:00 CST, and in China on 13 April 06:00 CST. That means that for those of you on the East Coast of the US, you can expect to be slinging new spells starting at 1:00 PM EST.
