Everything You Should Know About Samsung's Crazy, Innovative Galaxy Fold

After years of rumors and waiting, Samsung's first foldable smartphone is here. While it lost the title of the first foldable phone to the Royole FlexPai, this is a far better design and a phone whose hardware and software will help carry the new form factor into the future. It's a bit wild, but it could end up being one of the most influential devices in years.

Thinking of Samsung Galaxy Fold in the same fashion as the Samsung Galaxy S10 is unfair. With this new form factor comes growing pains, particularly the software, which is currently not fully optimized for a bendable display (though Samsung did work with Google to ensure Android would still be fairly cohesive). So like the early days of Android, the Galaxy Fold is a solid phone, but one designed more for first adopters than those looking to replace the Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+.
