When i do this, i get the error message (mine is error 3914), but my ipod stays in dfu mode, and the recover image isnt displayed. Does this only work for iPhone?

same it just isnt 3914 but its sumet in the 3000

I've downloaded the PC file you provide, and extracted the .rar file to my desktop. I am following you along and am currently in iTunes restore mode where I select the iOS 3.1.3 file, but iTunes is not recognizing any iOS file in the extracted file folder. What is the file name I am looking for in this RecBoot extracted file folder?

ive downloaded ios version 3.0.1 firmware like 5 times now from different websites but my itunes wont find them please help i have windows7 if thats any help
